If the physician adds a drug to the patient’s treatment plan after I’ve already received an eviti code, do I have to resubmit it?
You can add a supportive drug to a treatment plan using the Add Drug button on the Dashboard. However, if a chemotherapy drug is being replaced with another chemotherapy drug, or if a large portion of the entire treatment plan is being changed, then the entire treatment plan must be re-entered to be reviewed effectively.
If a treatment plan's start or end date changes, and it already received an eviti code, do I have to resubmit it?
As long as the treatment has not changed, the treatment plan does not have to be re-entered into eviti|Connect. However, you must contact the insurance company to communicate the new dates.
If a treatment plan does not receive an eviti code but certain drugs within that plan were recommended by eviti, Inc. and approved by the patient’s insurance company (partial approval), do I have to resubmit it?
No, the treatment plan has already been reviewed and as long as the treatment has not changed, it does not have to be re-entered into eviti| Connect. However, you should contact the patient’s insurance company for clarification or questions.
If any drugs in a treatment plan have a dose reduction, and it already received an eviti code, do I have to resubmit it?
No, a drug dose reduction within a treatment plan does not have to be re-entered into eviti|Connect
If any drugs in a treatment plan have a dosage increased, and it already received an eviti code, do I have to resubmit it?
Most of the time, a drug dose increase within a treatment plan does have to be re-entered into eviti|Connect. However, you should contact the patient's insurance company for clarification or questions.
If the amount of cycles in a treatment plan change, and it already received an eviti code, do I have to resubmit it?
If cycles are increased, the treatment plan has to be re-entered into eviti|Connect. If cycles are reduced, the treatment plan does NOT have to be re-entered into eviti|Connect.
If the number of days in a cycle change in a treatment plan, and it already received an eviti code, do I have to resubmit it?
If the number of administration days in a cycle are increased, the treatment plan needs to be re-entered into eviti|Connect. If the number of administration days in a cycle are reduced, the treatment plan does NOT necessarily have to be re-entered into eviti|Connect.
